No lie — It's a Conspiracy! is now with us

itsaconspiracy-wide.jpg

Our recent signing blitz continues with the addition of It’s a Conspiracy! to the network.

Co-hosts Andrew, Charlie and Greg “lay out the beliefs behind selected conspiracy theories, alternative accounts, legends, myths and more.” They take a look at the odd things some people believe, and weigh in on whether they think there’s any truth to be found. Along the way you’ll hear plenty of jokes, musical interludes, and a deep appreciation of craft beer.

Now and then, they insert a special, often inspired by a holiday or event of note, in which you’ll learn all manner of strange facts. You’ll hear some of those specials over the summer before Season 2 officially begins in September.

You may already have heard a little bit of It’s a Conspiracy! on our network, as Andrew has been a guest on Northern Nerdcast and the Mess Hall Podcast. It joins the other podcasts in our Stories and Storytelling category. If you like our Pop Culture shows, you’ll probably like this one, too.

Be sure to subscribe in your podcatcher of choice, and follow It’s a Conspiracy! on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter.

Many thanks to our founding sponsor, ATB Financial, and our other sponsors for making it possible to bring more podcasts into the network.

The Wellness Summit aims to connect

As you may have heard on a number of our podcasts in recent weeks, Alberta Blue Cross is putting on The Wellness Summit on Oct. 10. We’re thrilled to be drawing attention to this event whose values align so closely with our own.

This year’s summit, the first of its kind, will focus on what it takes to create healthy workplace cultures, drive engagement and spark communication. It’s set up to be of value to leaders of all kinds, whether you are a C-suite executive or the person in your office who people look to for advice and support.

We had a chance to talk about it with Linda Crawford, manager of corporate wellness for Alberta Blue Cross. Hear her passion for the subject, her excitement about the speakers, and her dedication to making sure the event yields practical results:

Get your ticket for the summit for just $125. It takes place at the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel. Connection happens here — don’t miss out!
