Ready the rockets and countdown to (re)launch — The week on APN — June 26 - July 2

As billionaire bros compete for the coveted title of who gets launched into space first, the rest of us are carefully cracking open our doors, checking to see if it's safe to finally hit up a patio.

Whatever you're comfortable doing as the whole of society opens up, your pals at APN will be cautiously getting ourselves back out there, too. Bring along our weekly playlists for some audible company, and embrace the new normal — even if you're still wary of hugs.

The “subscribe” button on any of the Listen Notes playlists will let you grab a playlist for your podcatcher. Sample the shows below, or check out the full week’s roundup on Spotify.

Bring on the spice — The week on APN — June 19-25

If the forecast is to be believed, Alberta is in for a week of unprecedented highs in the coming days. And there's no better way to cool down than helping cue the body's natural A/C. Try a pepper-laden soup or adding a dash of cayenne to your coffee; a little capsaicin could do you good, whether it's to beat the heat or help sweat out the nasty symptoms arising from your second dose of that sweet, sweet COVID-19 vaccine.

We'll be chillin' in our sub-temp basements, ready with a batch of new summer listens just for you and your weekend's exploits.
